What a wonderful event! Our Art with Alex program last week was an amazing opportunity for local young people to learn the basics of sketching and painting with nationally acclaimed artist (and Queensborough resident) Alex Bulzan. Because of rain, Day 1 took place in the historic Orange Hall, and many thanks to its owners, Jamie Grant and Tory Byers, for making that happen. On Days 2 and 3, the young artists worked outdoors at the home of Lud and Elaine Kapusta. Huge thanks to the Tweed Festival of Trees for financial support for this outstanding event. And of course to Alex, for his tremendous generosity with his time and expertise.
